Duties

• Barista shift operations by coordinating team activities and ensuring efficient service delivery
• Prepare a variety of non-alcoholic beverages with precision and flair, maintaining high quality standards
• Oversee retail sales transactions using POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS, ensuring accuracy in cash handling and processing payments
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, adhering to food safety and food handling protocols
• Support team members in food preparation, beverage service, and drink presentation to deliver an outstanding customer experience
• Manage cash register functions including processing cash transactions and balancing tills at the end of each shift
• Train and mentor team members on food safety practices, beverage preparation, and customer service excellence

Skills

• Proven experience as a barista with strong knowledge of coffee brewing techniques and beverage service
• Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS and Micros POS for retail sales transactions
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse customers
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy shifts
• Basic math skills for cash handling, processing transactions, and balancing registers accurately
• Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
• Leadership qualities to motivate team members, delegate tasks effectively, and support a collaborative work environment

Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour
