Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee, tea, and specialty beverages with precision and flair
• Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems, including Micros POS, to process transactions efficiently and accurately
• Handle cash, perform cashiering duties, and manage food handling responsibilities with integrity
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workspace, including food preparation areas and serving stations
• Ensure food safety standards are met by following proper food handling procedures and hygiene practices
• Assist customers with menu selections, answer questions, and provide friendly service to enhance their experience
• Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure quick service without compromising quality

Experience

• Previous barista experience or food service experience is preferred but not required; we value enthusiasm and willingness to learn
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS is a plus
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests
• Good time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Basic math skills for cash handling, making change, and processing transactions accurately
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling techniques is advantageous
• Experience in the food industry or serving roles will help you excel in this dynamic position

Pay: From $18.25 per hour

Expected hours: 30.0 – 40.0 per week

Work Location: In person
