Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in customer service and a love for coffee, ensuring that every customer has an exceptional experience. As a Barista, you will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality beverages, maintaining cleanliness in the café, and providing outstanding service to our guests. Looking for ~15+ hours

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages and food items with precision and care.
• Operate the POS efficiently for order processing and payment handling.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café, including workstations, dining areas, and equipment.
• Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers, taking orders accurately, and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
• Ensure adherence to food safety standards and proper food handling procedures during preparation and serving.
• Assist in training new trainees, inventory management by monitoring stock levels, supplies, and food items.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during business and peak hours.
• Utilize time management skills to handle multiple tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Previous barista experience or background in the food service industry is preferred.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for guests.
• Familiarity with POS systems is a plus.
• Basic math skills for cash handling and retail math calculations.
• Knowledge of food safety practices and food preparation techniques.
• Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor.
