Barista

About the Role

We are looking for a passionate and energetic Barista to join our team. In addition to preparing quality coffee and delivering good customer service, you will help promote our coffee shop through engaging social media content and online community interaction.

Key Responsibilities

Barista Operations

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee-based beverages and other menu items to a high standard.

• Take customer orders and process payments accurately.

• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the coffee counter, equipment, and shop environment.

• Monitor inventory levels and assist with stock replenishment and ordering.

• Ensure smooth, safe, and efficient daily shop operations.

• Provide friendly and professional customer service, offering recommendations and answering customer enquiries.

Social Media Support

• Create and publish engaging content for social media platforms (e.g. Instagram, Facebook, Threads, Rednote).

• Take photos and videos of beverages, products, events, and daily shop activities.

• Respond to customer messages and comments in a timely and professional manner.

About You

• Minimum 2 years of work experience, including at least 1 year of barista experience.

• Ability to calibrate and operate coffee grinders and espresso machines independently.

• F.5 / HKDSE graduate, Diploma holder, or above.

• Passionate about coffee and knowledgeable in coffee brewing techniques.

• Familiar with social media platforms and content creation tools.

• Basic photography, videography, and content editing skills are an advantage.

• Good customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.

• Solid multitasking, organization, and time management abilities.

• Good understanding of health, safety, and food hygiene regulations related to food handling and preparation.
