Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of high-quality coffee, tea, and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and care
• Engage with customers in a friendly, professional manner to enhance their experience
• Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process retail sales transactions accurately
• Maintain cleanliness of the café area, including food handling and sanitation standards
• Manage cash handling and processing cash transactions efficiently while ensuring accuracy through retail math skills
• Restock supplies, monitor inventory levels, and assist in food preparation when needed
• Uphold food safety standards by following proper food handling procedures and ensuring compliance with health regulations
• Support team members during busy periods by managing serving and drink service responsibilities effectively

Requirements

• Must have at some weekday and weekend morning and afternoon availablity
• Previous barista experience or food service background preferred; familiarity with café operations highly valued
• Proficiency in POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and positively
• Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and transaction processing
• Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques
• Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Excellent time management skills to ensure timely beverage preparation and customer service excellence
• Experience with beverage preparation, including coffee experience and drink service techniques
• Weekend availability

Pay: $12.00 - $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10.0 – 20.0 per week
