We’re looking for friendly, reliable, and detail-oriented baristas who enjoy working with people and take pride in preparing high-quality drinks.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve espresso-based coffee, matcha, tea, and other specialty beverages according to RICHE. recipes and quality standards.
• Operate commercial espresso equipment and other café equipment safely and properly.
• Maintain consistency in drink preparation, presentation, portioning, and quality.
• Greet customers, take orders, answer menu questions, and provide friendly and attentive customer service.
• Operate the POS system and accurately process cash and card transactions.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary bar, service area, equipment, counters, and dining area.
• Follow proper food handling, sanitation, and food safety procedures.
• Assist with opening and/or closing duties as scheduled.
• Communicate and work closely with other baristas, mochi makers, and management to keep daily operations running smoothly.
• Assist with other café duties as needed.

Requirements

• Early morning & weekend availability.
• Previous barista, café, or food-service experience is preferred but not required.
• Experience operating a commercial espresso machine is strongly preferred.
• Experience preparing matcha or specialty beverages is a plus, but training will be provided.
• Food Handler Certificate required; candidates who do not currently have one must be willing to obtain one. Guidance/training will be provided.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Comfortable using a POS system and handling cash accurately.
• Reliable, punctual, organized, and detail-oriented.
• Able to follow recipes and preparation standards consistently.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and as part of a team.
• Willing to maintain high standards of cleanliness and food safety throughout each shift.

Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40.0 per week
