At Bread Ahead, our Baristas are at the heart of our customer experience. You'll prepare and serve high-quality coffee and beverages while sharing your passion for great food, artisan baking and hospitality. Working alongside our retail, bakery and kitchen teams, you'll help create a welcoming environment where customers can discover our breads, pastries, doughnuts and seasonal products.

What You'll Be Doing

• Preparing and serving hot and cold beverages to Bread Ahead standards
• Delivering consistently excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment
• Sharing knowledge of coffee, tea and Bread Ahead products with customers
• Operating coffee equipment and maintaining high standards of cleanliness
• Handling customer enquiries and resolving issues professionally
• Processing transactions accurately and operating tills confidently
• Replenishing stock, merchandising products and maintaining attractive displays
• Following food safety, allergen awareness, HACCP and health & safety procedures
• Supporting colleagues across retail, bakery and kitchen teams as required
• Assisting with opening and closing procedures

What We're Looking For

• Passion for coffee, food and hospitality
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Positive, reliable and professional attitude
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining quality
• Previous Barista experience is desirable
• Knowledge of espresso extraction and milk texturing is beneficial
• Experience using espresso machines is advantageous
• Understanding of food safety and hygiene standards is beneficial
• Right to work in the UK is essential
