About the Role

We are looking for an experienced, passionate, and customer-focused Senior Barista to join our team. The ideal candidate is a skilled coffee professional who can consistently prepare high-quality beverages, lead by example during shifts, maintain excellent customer service standards, and support the daily operations of the café.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare specialty coffee, espresso-based beverages, teas, and other drinks to company standards.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and create a welcoming café experience.
• Lead and support baristas during daily operations.
• Train and mentor new team members on coffee preparation, customer service, and café procedures.
• Monitor coffee quality, consistency, and presentation.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee bar and workstations.
• Ensure food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards are always followed.
• Manage opening and closing duties.
• Monitor stock levels and report inventory shortages.
• Minimize product waste and ensure proper storage of ingredients.
• Handle customer concerns professionally and assist in resolving issues.
• Work closely with the Café Manager to achieve sales and operational goals.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–3 years of specialty coffee experience, with at least 1 year in a senior or supervisory barista role.
• Strong knowledge of espresso extraction, milk steaming, latte art, manual brewing methods, and coffee calibration.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Positive attitude, reliability, and strong teamwork skills.
• Flexible to work weekends, holidays, and rotating shifts.
• Food safety certification is an advantage.
