Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and specialty beverages with precision and flair
• Assist in food preparation tasks, including assembling food items and maintaining presentation standards
• Ensure cleanliness and sanitation of all work areas following food safety sanitizing procedures
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including blenders, espresso machines, and other small appliances
• Handle cash transactions accurately using POS systems while processing orders swiftly
• Maintain high standards of food handling and safety protocols to ensure customer well-being
• Support cleaning routines, including dishwashing, surface sanitizing, and waste disposal to uphold hygiene standards
• Engage with customers in a friendly manner, providing excellent in-person service that enhances their experience

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Barista or restaurant environments is highly preferred; culinary or catering experience is a plus
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to connect positively with diverse guests
• Knowledge of food safety management practices and sanitizing procedures
• Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely, including weight handling in the workplace
• Basic math skills for cash handling and order processing
• Familiarity with operating POS systems for efficient transactions
• Experience with wine knowledge or beverage preparation is advantageous but not required
• A proactive attitude with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail

Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
