Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of hot and iced beverages, including coffee beverages, teas, and specialty drinks with precision.
• Prepare cold sandwiches and serve pastries.
• Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Micros POS to process transactions efficiently and accurately
• Handle cash, credit card payments, and perform cashiering duties with integrity and accuracy
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, including food preparation stations and dining spaces
• Ensure food safety standards are met by adhering to proper food handling procedures
• Assist customers with menu selections and answer questions about ingredients or dietary needs
• Provide friendly service.
• Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers promptly while maintaining quality standards

Qualifications

• Previous barista experience and knowledge of preparing cold and hot beverages is required
• Latte art skills is required
• Familiarity with POS systems like Micros POS or similar platforms
• Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and excellent communication abilities
• Ability to perform basic math for cash handling, making change, and order accuracy
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling techniques
• Proven time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Experience in serving, food preparation, or cashiering roles is a plus
