Job Summary
Looking for a Barista with 1–2 years of experience making espresso-based drinks and smoothies.Must know how to handle an espresso machine.

Duties & Responsibilities – Barista

• Prepare and serve coffee, tea, and specialty beverages
• Greet customers and provide friendly customer service
• Take customer orders accurately and efficiently
• Operate cash register and POS system
• Handle cash, debit, and credit transactions
• Maintain the cleanliness of café, counters, and equipment

Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and specialty drinks using standard recipes and equipment.
• Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, for accurate cashiering and cash handling.
• Handle food preparation tasks such as assembling food items, maintaining cleanliness, and adhering to food safety standards.
• Provide outstanding customer service by greeting guests, taking orders, and addressing inquiries professionally.
• Manage cash register transactions accurately, including processing payments and giving correct change.
• Maintain cleanliness of the work area, equipment, and dining space in compliance with health regulations.
• Restock supplies as needed and assist in inventory management.
• Follow food safety procedures during food handling and preparation to ensure quality standards are met.

Experience

• Previous experience in the coffee shop or as a barista familiar with coffee Machine.
• Familiarity with POS systems, especially Micros POS, is advantageous.
• Proven ability in serving customers efficiently while managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Strong time management skills to handle busy periods effectively.
• Knowledge of basic math skills for cashiering, cash handling, and measuring ingredients accurately.
• Experience in food service, including food preparation and food safety practices, is desirable. This role is perfect for individuals passionate about coffee culture and delivering excellent customer experiences in a fast-paced environment.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $18.00-$21.00 per hour
