Job Overview:

We’re seeking a skilled Barista to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for coffee, matcha, and creating meaningful connections with customers in a fast-paced, yet inviting café setting.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve a variety of Vietnamese-inspired coffee drinks and Japanese matcha teas following our recipes and quality standards.

• Accurately handle transactions and maintain records of sales using Point-of-Sale (POS) systems like Square POS.

• Engage with customers, take orders, and address inquiries in a friendly and professional manner.

• Keep the café, work area, and equipment clean to uphold high standards of hygiene and organization.

• Monitor and restock supplies, ensuring we’re always prepared to meet customer demand.

• Manage time effectively to ensure smooth café operations and maximize customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Previous experiences in a café or retail environment is preferred. Knowledge of coffee preparation methods, equipment, and the art of matcha whisking

• Strong interpersonal skills with a passion for creating memorable experiences.

• Quick thinking and the ability to prioritize tasks while maintaining attention to detail.

• A genuine appreciation for Vietnamese coffee culture and Japanese matcha traditions, with the ability to share that passion with customers.

• Availability on both weekdays and weekends.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $16.90 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25.0 – 35.0 per week
