Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and specialty beverages with precision and flair
• Handle food preparation tasks, including assembling sandwiches, pastries, and light snacks in accordance with food safety standards
• Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process transactions efficiently and accurately
• Provide friendly, attentive customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and ensuring guest satisfaction
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including food handling stations and seating areas
• Manage cash handling responsibilities with accuracy, including cash register operations and balancing at shift end
• Support inventory management by restocking supplies and monitoring product freshness

Requirements

• Previous barista experience or background in the food industry is highly preferred
• Strong knowledge of POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS for smooth transaction processing
• Excellent time management skills to handle busy periods efficiently
• Proven ability to deliver outstanding customer service with a positive attitude
• Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and order totaling
• Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Good communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and interact professionally with customers
