Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve high-quality coffee beverages, teas, and light food items with precision and care.
• Operate Square POS to process customer transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Greet customers warmly, take orders, and provide exceptional customer service to ensure a positive experience.
• Handle cash, credit card payments, and perform cash handling duties with accuracy using proper cash register procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards in the café area, including food handling and food preparation tasks.
• Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers promptly while maintaining quality standards.
• Assist in stocking supplies, organizing the workspace, and ensuring the café environment is inviting and well-maintained.

Requirements

• Previous barista experience or coffee industry knowledge is highly preferred, but not necessary. We train you
• Proven cashiering skills with familiarity in POS systems such as Square
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and positively.
• Basic math skills for retail math, cash handling, and transaction balancing.
• Knowledge of food safety practices, food handling procedures, and food preparation standards.
• Excellent time management abilities to prioritize tasks efficiently during peak hours.
