Moody Brews Coffee is a full service coffee shop located within a new diner in Cumming called Papa's Kitchen. We are a family-owned business, looking for a barista willing to help us in these early stages of opening, and grow with us.

Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and specialty beverages using professional equipment such as espresso machines and grinders.
• Take customer orders accurately using Toast POS system, ensuring quick and friendly service.
• Handle cash transactions, process payments efficiently, and manage cash handling responsibilities with precision.
• Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards by adhering to proper food handling and preparation procedures.
• Assist in food preparation tasks such as assembling sandwiches, pastries, or other café offerings to ensure quality and presentation.
• Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests warmly, answering questions about menu items, and accommodating special requests.
• Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve multiple customers promptly while maintaining high-quality standards.

Qualifications

• Previous barista experience or strong interest in coffee brewing and food service is preferred.
• Familiarity with POS systems such as TOAST is a plus.
• Demonstrated ability to manage time efficiently in fast-paced environments.
• Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude and strong communication abilities.
• Basic math skills for cash handling, sales transactions, and retail math calculations.
• Knowledge of food safety practices, proper food handling, and serving protocols.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate loads, and work flexible hours including mornings, evenings, or weekends. Pay: $10.00 - $12.00 per hour
