Barista

NewRich Coffee Co. is a single-origin Puerto Rican coffee brand built on family, craft, and culture. Our flagship offering, Jose's Blend, carries notes of nutty chocolate and brown sugar, and every cup we serve is a tribute to our roots. We are gearing up for our first pop-up and are looking for someone who gets it and wants to be part of it from day one.

What You Will Do

• Prepare and serve espresso-based drinks with consistency and care
• Represent the NewRich brand with warmth and professionalism at pop-up events
• Handle bar setup, breakdown, and equipment upkeep
• Engage guests and share the story behind Jose's Blend
• Keep things clean, organized, and running smoothly under pressure

What We Are Looking For

• Experience as a barista in a specialty or third-wave coffee setting
• Strong espresso technique and palate
• A genuine passion for quality coffee and hospitality
• Comfortable working in fast-paced, outdoor, or non-traditional environments
• Someone who takes pride in the details

Do you have ideas for creative drinks that pair with our single-origin beans? We are genuinely open to working together on the pop-up menu. If you have a vision for seasonal specials, signature lattes, or food pairings that complement the flavor profile of Jose's Blend, bring it. This is a creative role as much as it is a technical one, and we want someone who sees it that way too.

Nice to Have

• Bilingual (English and Spanish)
• Experience with pop-ups, markets, or mobile cafe setups
• Background in menu development or food and beverage R&D
• Familiarity with Puerto Rican coffee culture and single-origin beans

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
