Barista

We are hiring a Barista to lead the coffee production at day time Cafe Twenty Two in Mile End, about two minutes' from the Adelaide CBD.

You must be experienced and confident with dialing a consistent grind, texturing whole and alternative milks, and producing all types of hot and cold coffee types without assistance. You will be expected to know and demonstrate this. Minimum 2 years as a Front of House Barista is essential.

About the role:

• taking customer drink and food orders correctly and efficiently

• making all types of hot and cold coffee drinks and other iced drinks

• fast and precise coffee making during high volume periods

• stocktaking coffee supplies

• cleaning the coffee machine

• restocking cold drinks fridge

• dishes and basic food heating

Availability:

Candidates must be available to work Monday through to Friday, between the hours of 7:30am and 3pm every week. Weekly rosters can be flexible for the right person. Approximately 15-25 hours per week.

About you:

You must be very well presented, have full working rights in Australia, and fluent English. You are warm, friendly, and professional. You are have attention to detail, a can-do attitude, and can organise yourself and the coffee bar during quieter periods. You are able to pay attention to the job at hand and complete tasks.
