Barista – Teaspoon Brandon

About the Role
Teaspoon Brandon is looking for a friendly, service-minded Barista to join our team. You'll make boba, tea, and coffee drinks, help guests find something they'll love, and keep our café clean and welcoming. Prior experience as a barista, server, or in another customer-facing food role is a plus, but we provide paid training.

What You'll Do

• Prepare boba, tea, and coffee drinks following our recipes and each guest's preferences
• Operate espresso machines, grinders, sealers, and other café equipment safely and carefully
• Keep workstations, equipment, and the dining area clean and organized
• Take orders, suggest drinks, and answer questions about the menu
• Process payments on our POS system and follow cash-handling procedures
• Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines at all times
• Work with teammates to keep things running smoothly during busy rushes

What We're Looking For

• Ability to stay organized and manage several orders at once in a fast-paced setting
• Clear, friendly communication with guests and coworkers
• Basic math skills for handling payments and making change
• Familiarity with food safety practices (preferred, not required)
• Café or food prep experience (preferred, not required)

Schedule Requirement

• Weekend availability is required: you must be available to work at least one of Friday, Saturday, or Sunday each week
• Candidates available all three days (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday) are strongly preferred

Location: In person at 1951 W Lumsden Rd, Brandon, FL 33511. Candidates who can reliably commute to Brandon are preferred.

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
