About Us :

LA PETITE COLLINE & CHU LOO is a Taiwanese bakery restaurant located in Scarborough, with a focus on quality food, beverages, and customer experience. We are looking for an experienced motivated barista to join our team, who is passionate about coffee, detail-oriented, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities :

• Prepare espresso-based beverages, coffee, tea, and other drinks according to company recipes and quality standards
• Operate commercial espresso machines accurately and adjust espresso extraction parameters as needed to maintain consistency
• Steam milk with consistent texture, and perform basic latte art skills
• Maintain beverage quality and efficient service during peak hours
• Assist with daily bar operations, inventory preparation, and restocking supplies
• Keep bar and workstations clean, organized, and well maintained
• Provide friendly, attentive, and efficient customer service

Qualifications & Skills :

• Minimum 1 year of barista experience is required
• Experience in specialty coffee, bartending, or dessert preparation is a strong asset
• Must hold a valid Smart Serve Certification, or be willing to obtain one
• Reliable, responsible, and able to work well as part of a team

Compensation & Benefits :

• Starting from $18.60/hour and up, depending on experience and skill level
