Barista

Job Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve coffee, espresso, lattes, cappuccinos, teas, smoothies, and other beverages.
• Provide friendly and professional customer service.
• Take customer orders accurately and process payments using the POS system.
• Maintain a clean and organized coffee station, counter, and customer area.
• Follow Karam Cafe recipes and presentation standards.
• Restock cups, milk, syrups, coffee beans, food items, and other supplies.
• Monitor inventory and inform management when supplies are running low.
• Assist with opening and closing duties.
• Clean equipment, including espresso machines, grinders, blenders, and work surfaces.
• Follow food safety, hygiene, and workplace safety procedures.
• Work collaboratively with other team members during busy periods.
• Help create a welcoming and positive experience for every customer.

Requirements

• Previous barista or customer-service experience is preferred but not required.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
• Friendly, reliable, punctual, and professional.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to learn Karam Cafe's drinks, recipes, and procedures.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform regular cleaning and stocking duties.
• Availability for mornings, evenings, weekends, or holidays depending on scheduling needs.

We are looking for someone who is positive, responsible, customer-focused, and willing to grow with the Karam Cafe team. Experience is an advantage, but a good attitude, reliability, and willingness to learn are equally important.

Pay: $16.00-$18.00 per hour
