Responsibilities

• Prepare a variety of non-alcoholic beverages including coffee, tea, smoothies, and specialty drinks with precision and care

• Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process retail sales transactions efficiently and accurately

• Provide outstanding customer service by greeting guests warmly, taking orders promptly, and answering questions about menu items

• Maintain cleanliness of the café area, including food handling stations, beverage stations, and dining spaces in compliance with food safety standards

• Handle cash transactions accurately while processing payments and giving correct change using basic math skills

• Restock supplies regularly to ensure smooth operations during busy hours and assist with food preparation when needed

• Follow proper food handling procedures and uphold food safety regulations at all times

Experience

• Previous barista experience or background in food service is highly preferred

• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus

• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests

• Experience in beverage service, drink preparation, or café environments is desirable

• Basic math proficiency for cash handling and transaction processing

• Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques

• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively during peak hours

• Previous involving cash handling and cashiering is beneficial

Pay: $17.00 - $21.00 per hour
