Job Summary

Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialised drinks, ensuring consistency and quality.
• Operate coffee machines, grinders, blenders, and other equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the work area, adhering to food safety standards at all times.
• Take customer orders accurately, process payments, and handle cash or card transactions efficiently.
• Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers in a friendly manner and addressing any special requests or dietary needs.
• Restock supplies as needed, including ingredients, cups, lids, straws, and napkins throughout shifts.
• Follow health and safety regulations related to food handling and hygiene practices.
• Assist with food preparation tasks when required, such as assembling snacks or light meals.

Experience

• Previous experience as a Barista is a essential.
• Knowledge of food safety standards is advantageous.
• Experience in serving customers in a fast-paced environment is preferred.
• Basic skills in food preparation and basic maths are beneficial for handling transactions accurately.
• Strong time management skills are essential to ensure efficient service during busy periods.
• A friendly attitude with excellent communication skills is vital for creating a welcoming atmosphere for customers.
