Job Summary

Corgi Cafe in Shoreditch — "where tech builders meet" — is hiring Baristas! As a 24/7 cafe, we run morning, noon, and night shifts, so if you prefer working nights, we have a place for you. You'll craft our coffee and smoothie menu with consistency and care and deliver genuinely great customer service in a fast-paced, high-visibility cafe at the centre of a growing tech hub. If you take pride in a perfect flat white, this is a great fit.

Duties

• Prepare coffee, smoothies, and specialty drinks to recipe, consistently and with genuine care
• Handle customer interactions with warmth and professionalism, including resolving complaints calmly and fairly
• Maintain food safety and hygiene standards across all prep and service areas
• Keep the station, counter, and dining area clean, organised, and guest-ready at all times
• Track stock and waste, flagging issues early

Experience

• Proven barista experience — strong beverage skills, consistency, and attention to detail
• Comfortable with food safety basics and keeping a clean, organised prep area
• Confident handling a fast-paced counter, queues, and multiple orders at once
• A steady, calm approach to customer complaints and unexpected problems
• Previous cafe, restaurant, or hotel experience is a strong plus

Pay: £12.71-£13.50 per hour

Expected hours: 30.0 – 40.0 per week
