Heritage Coffee is an independent, multi-roaster coffee shop founded in Solon, Ohio. We're a team who has worked at cafes big and small, both local and national, and we're excited to have expanded to Twinsburg this summer. Being a warm and welcoming environment for both local professionals and our neighbors is paramount to us. We're looking for folks with barista experience, either in local shops or with the chains, who know how to make every new customer feel like a beloved regular

Duties:

• Warmly greet every guest and guide them to a selection they'll love.
• Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks
• Operate espresso machines, grinders, and other equipment to make high-quality coffee beverages
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee bar area
• Stock and replenish supplies as needed
• Handle cash transactions and operate the cash register accurately
• Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines
• Assist with food preparation, such as assembling sandwiches, melts, and gourmet toasts
• Provide product recommendations and answer customer inquiries

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in cafes is preferred
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate warmly and effectively
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Ability to handle food safely and follow proper food handling procedures

We are a small team and acknowledge that brings challenges, but we maintain a workplace free of a lot of the kind of drama we've seen in previous food service gigs. If you have a love for coffee and have a knack for providing exceptional customer experiences, we would love to hear from you.

About us

Quality coffee starts with passion, and a Heritage Coffee that passion runs in our roots. Growing up in Iceland, coffee was a part of our everyday life. No matter whose house you stopped by, a delicious cup of coffee was always part of the experience.

We wanted to bring that same tradition to the community and encourage others to gather and share that experience. We have been serving Solon and neighboring communities in Northeast Ohio since 2020 and delivering the finest coffee is our mission.
