Duties

• Prepare a variety of non-alcoholic beverages including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks with precision and flair
• Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process sales swiftly and accurately
• Handle retail sales transactions efficiently while providing excellent customer service
• Maintain cleanliness of workstations, equipment, and dining areas to ensure food safety and hygiene standards are met
• Assist customers with their orders, answer questions about menu items, and recommend popular beverages or snacks
• Manage cash handling responsibilities by processing cash transactions and giving correct change
• Support food handling and food preparation tasks to uphold quality standards in the café environment

Skills

• Proven experience as a Barista or in food service roles with café experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of beverage service, drink preparation, and food safety protocols
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for efficient sales processing
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic approach to engaging guests
• Basic math skills for processing cash transactions accurately and managing register operations
• Ability to multitask effectively while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced setting
• Time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy hours and ensure timely service
