Barista Requirements

• Must pass the beverage recipes exam within one month of training
• Must be at least 16 years old
• Able to work a flexible schedule with a minimum of 20 hours per week
• Excellent verbal communication and organizational skills
• Able to lift and carry up to 40 lbs
• Capable of multitasking efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with customers and team members
• Must obtain a valid Food Handler Certification within 30 days of hire

Responsibilities

• Beverage Preparation: Accurately prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages according to FENG CHA’s official recipes, presentation guidelines, and quality standards.
• POS System Handling and Orders: Operate the POS system proficiently, including order entry, payment processing, cash handling, and register security. Maintain speed and accuracy during transactions.
• Customer Service: Greet customers warmly, take orders correctly, offer product recommendations, and ensure friendly, responsive service. Address customer concerns professionally and promptly.
• Cleanliness: Keep the barista station, equipment, kitchen, customer areas, restrooms, and storage clean and well-organized. Perform dishwashing and routine maintenance tasks as needed.
• Continuous Learning: Begin assisting with kitchen preparation and studying recipes to qualify for promotion to Senior Barista. Show initiative in expanding product knowledge and skill proficiency.

Pay: From $14.00 per hour
