Duties

• Prepare a variety of non-alcoholic beverages such as coffee, tea, smoothies, and specialty drinks with precision and flair
• Operate POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS to process retail sales transactions efficiently and accurately
• Provide outstanding customer service by greeting guests warmly, taking orders, and ensuring their satisfaction throughout their visit
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including food preparation surfaces, equipment, and seating areas
• Handle cash transactions securely, process payments accurately, and give correct change using cash handling best practices
• Follow food safety guidelines during food handling and beverage preparation to ensure quality and compliance
• Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, supporting overall café operations and ensuring timely service

Skills

• Proven experience as a Barista or in food service with a strong understanding of beverage service and drink preparation techniques
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for smooth sales processing
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and handle inquiries professionally
• Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during busy periods
• Basic math skills for accurate cash handling, change calculation, and transaction processing
• Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures to maintain hygiene standards
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while maintaining a friendly, energetic attitude
