Responsibilities

• Prepare a variety of non-alcoholic beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks, following established recipes and standards
• Provide outstanding customer service by greeting guests warmly, taking orders accurately, and delivering beverages promptly
• Operate POS system to process all sales transactions efficiently and accurately
• Maintain cleanliness of the café, including food handling stations, equipment, and seating areas, adhering to food safety standards
• Handle cash transactions with precision, including processing payments and giving correct change
• Restock supplies regularly to ensure all ingredients and products are available for smooth service
• Follow food safety protocols during food preparation and beverage service to ensure a safe experience for all guests

Requirements

• Previous barista or food service experience preferred; familiarity with café operations is a plus
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests
• Basic math skills for cash handling, making change, and inventory counts
• Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
• Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Excellent time management skills to ensure timely beverage preparation and service delivery
• Ability to go up and down stairs

Pay: $15.80 - $27.64 per hour

Expected hours: 10.0 – 20.0 per week
