Overview
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Barista to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about delivering excellent customer service and creating high-quality beverages in a fast-paced environment. This role offers an opportunity to develop your skills in food preparation, serving, and maintaining food safety standards while working in a welcoming setting. Previous Barista experience including latte art is essential

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialised drinks
• Ensure all food safety and hygiene standards are strictly adhered to during food preparation and service
• Take customer orders accurately and efficiently, providing friendly and attentive service
• Maintain cleanliness of the workspace, including equipment, counters, and dining areas
• Handle cash transactions and operate the till system with accuracy
• Restock supplies as needed to ensure smooth operation during shifts
• Assist in food preparation tasks when required, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met
• Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers promptly without compromising quality

Experience

• Previous Barista experience is essential;
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices is preferred
• Experience in serving customers in a fast-paced environment is advantageous
• Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions accurately
• Strong time management skills to prioritise tasks efficiently during busy periods
