Duties

• Prepare and serve a wide range of non-alcoholic beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks, ensuring quality and consistency.
• Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process sales accurately and efficiently.
• Manage retail sales transactions with cash handling, processing cash, credit cards, and other payment methods seamlessly.
• Maintain cleanliness of the café area, including cleaning equipment, counters, tables, and food prep zones to meet food safety standards.
• Provide excellent customer service by greeting guests warmly, taking orders promptly, and addressing any questions or concerns professionally.
• Assist in food handling and basic food preparation tasks to support café operations.
• Support food safety protocols and proper food handling procedures to ensure a safe environment for staff and customers.

Experience

• Previous barista experience or background in food service is highly preferred; familiarity with coffee preparation is a plus.
• Experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests.
• Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction processing.
• Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures.
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy periods.
• Retail sales experience that demonstrates ability to upsell products and manage transactions efficiently.

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
