Job Summary

We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Barista to join our vibrant hospitality team. As a key member of our restaurant, you will deliver exceptional guest experiences by producing exceptional espresso drinks. This role will involve preparing espresso beverages, and ensuring each guest feels welcomed and valued. The ideal candidate is passionate about espresso drinks, service, possesses excellent communication skills, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with server coaching to ensure each beverage is accurately described and presented.
• Maintaining the presentation standards and quality of VV, for each and every drink.
• Provide knowledgeable recommendations and information regarding all espresso beverages for both guest and staff.
• Maintain cleanliness, organization and sanitation.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth restaurant operations during busy hours.
• Exceptional attention and care for the equipment you are required to operate and maintain.
• Creativity and passion.

Skills

• Proven experience in restaurant environments, especially in upscale restaurants
• Familiarity with POS systems like Toast for order processing and sales tracking
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to build guest relations and handle guest inquiries professionally
• Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during high-volume service periods
• Basic math skills for cash handling, billing accuracy, and inventory management
• Must be able to stand for 8+ hours
• Must be able to comfortably carry 40+ pounds

Pay: $22.75 - $27.40 per hour

Expected hours: 15.0 – 35.0 per week
