Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of non-alcoholic beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met.
• Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS accurately to process sales and handle cash transactions with precision.
• Engage with customers in a friendly manner, providing excellent customer service and addressing inquiries or special requests promptly.
• Maintain cleanliness of the café area, including food handling stations, beverage equipment, and dining spaces, adhering to food safety standards.
• Manage food preparation tasks related to beverage service and light food offerings, ensuring proper food handling procedures are followed.
• Assist with retail sales transactions, restocking supplies, and organizing merchandise displays to enhance the customer experience.
• Support team members during busy periods by managing time effectively and multitasking efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Experience

• Previous barista experience or food service background is preferred but not required; we welcome motivated individuals eager to learn.
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and positively with diverse guests.
• Basic math skills for cash handling, processing payments, and giving accurate change.
• Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures in a café or food industry setting.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail in beverage preparation and cleanliness standards.
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during peak hours and ensure smooth operations.

Pay: $19.00 - $20.00 per hour
