Job Summary

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee, tea, and specialty beverages with precision and care
• Engage with customers in a friendly, professional manner, providing excellent service from order to delivery
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee station, dining area, and equipment to ensure food safety standards are met
• Assist with food preparation tasks such as assembling sandwiches or snacks when needed
• Manage cash register transactions accurately, including handling cash, credit cards, and mobile payments
• Follow all food safety protocols and health regulations diligently to ensure a safe environment for both staff and guests
• Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers efficiently without compromising quality or service

Requirements

• Prior experience as a barista or in a serving role is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key!
• Knowledge of food safety standards and proper hygiene practices
• Ability to perform basic math accurately for transactions and inventory checks
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks smoothly during peak hours
• Excellent communication skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate loads when necessary
• Basic food preparation skills are advantageous but training will be provided
