Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of non-alcoholic beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks, ensuring high quality and presentation standards.
• Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process retail sales transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Engage with customers warmly, providing friendly service and answering questions about menu items.
• Maintain cleanliness of the café area, including food prep surfaces, equipment, and seating areas, adhering to food safety standards.
• Restock supplies regularly, including coffee beans, cups, lids, napkins, and other essentials to ensure smooth operations.
• Follow food handling protocols during beverage preparation and food service to ensure safety and quality.

Requirements

• Previous barista experience or food service background is preferred; familiarity with café operations is a plus.
• Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for sales processing.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests.
• Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction processing.
• Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures.
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy periods.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks like cleaning and stocking efficiently.
