Barista

ESPRESSO BAR is seeking a friendly, dependable, and customer-focused Barista to support daily coffee shop operations. This role involves preparing espresso-based drinks, coffee, tea, and other beverages, welcoming customers, taking orders, operating the POS system, and maintaining a clean and organized beverage station. The ideal candidate is attentive to detail, interested in coffee preparation, and committed to providing excellent customer service in a busy café environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome customers and provide friendly, professional, and attentive service.
• Prepare espresso, coffee, tea, and other beverages according to established café procedures.
• Take customer orders accurately and operate the POS system.
• Answer basic questions about coffee, beverages, menu items, and café offerings.
• Confirm order details and communicate customer requests clearly with team members.
• Maintain beverage stations, counters, equipment, and service areas in a clean and organized condition.
• Monitor and replenish coffee beans, milk, cups, lids, napkins, and other café supplies.
• Assist with food and café item service as needed.
• Maintain beverage quality, presentation, and order accuracy.
• Support efficient customer service and order flow during busy periods.
• Assist with opening, closing, and routine daily café responsibilities.
• Follow food-safety, sanitation, cleanliness, and workplace procedures.
• Work cooperatively with other café team members to maintain smooth operations.

Qualifications

• Previous barista, café, coffee shop, restaurant, or customer-service experience is helpful.
• Interest in coffee, espresso, and beverage preparation.
• Friendly and professional approach to customer service.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Reliable, punctual, and responsible.
• Good attention to detail and order accuracy.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment.
• Able to learn beverage preparation, POS systems, and café procedures.
• Willingness to follow instructions and support the team.
