Job Overview

We are seeking a friendly, reliable, and efficient Barista / Crew Member to join our café team. The ideal candidate has a passion for coffee, strong customer service skills, and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and specialty drinks following established recipes and quality standards.
• Operate POS systems such as Clover and Toast efficiently for order entry, payments, and cash handling.
• Take customer orders accurately and professionally, ensuring fast and friendly service.
• Handle cash and card transactions responsibly, following company procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café, including coffee stations, prep areas, and guest seating.
• Assist with basic food preparation and serving baked goods or light food items as needed.
• Deliver excellent customer service by engaging with guests, answering menu questions, and making recommendations.
• Manage time effectively during busy periods while maintaining product quality and service standards.
• Follow all health, safety, and sanitation regulations related to food handling and workplace cleanliness.

Qualifications

• Previous barista or café experience preferred, but not required.
• Experience using Clover or Toast POS systems is a plus.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Basic math skills for cash handling and order accuracy.
• Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of food safety and proper food handling practices.
• Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented mindset.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $8.00 - $20.00 per hour
