Responsibilities

• Prepare a variety of non-alcoholic beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met.
• Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process retail sales transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Provide friendly and attentive customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and offering product recommendations.
• Maintain cleanliness of the café area, including equipment, counters, and seating spaces, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards.
• Handle cash transactions with precision, including processing payments and giving accurate change using cash handling best practices.
• Assist in food handling duties by preparing light snacks or food items as needed while following proper food safety protocols.
• Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure quick service without compromising quality or customer satisfaction.

Requirements

• Previous barista experience or food service background is highly preferred; familiarity with café operations is a plus.
• Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for processing sales and transactions.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests.
• Basic math skills for cash handling, giving correct change, and managing sales totals accurately.
• Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures.
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during peak hours efficiently.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as cleaning and equipment maintenance.
