Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and specialty beverages with precision and flair
• Handle food preparation tasks such as assembling sandwiches, pastries, and light snacks following food safety standards
• Operate POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS to process transactions efficiently and accurately
• Provide exceptional customer service by greeting guests warmly, taking orders promptly, and addressing inquiries with enthusiasm
• Manage cash handling responsibilities with accuracy, including cashiering and basic math calculations for change
• Maintain cleanliness of the café area, including food handling stations, tables, and equipment in compliance with health regulations
• Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure quick service without sacrificing quality or safety

Experience

• Previous barista experience in a café or coffee shop environment is highly preferred
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests
• Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures
• Ability to perform retail math accurately for cash handling and sales transactions
• Experience in food preparation, serving, or food industry roles is beneficial
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during peak hours
