Duties

• Prepare a variety of non-alcoholic beverages, including coffee, tea, smoothies, and specialty drinks, ensuring quality and consistency.
• Serve customers with friendly, attentive service to enhance their café experience.
• Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process retail sales transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Handle cash register operations, process cash transactions, and give correct change with basic math skills.
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas, equipment, and dining spaces by following food handling and sanitation standards.
• Assist in food preparation tasks related to café offerings while adhering to food safety protocols.
• Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers promptly without compromising quality.

Requirements

• Previous barista or food service experience is preferred; familiarity with café environments is a plus.
• Knowledge of POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and positively.
• Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction processing.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, lift light supplies, and perform cleaning duties regularly.
• Understanding of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures.
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy hours.
• A proactive attitude with a passion for beverage service and creating welcoming atmospheres.
