Job Summary

We are seeking an energetic and friendly Barista to join our vibrant café team! In this role, you will be the face of our establishment, creating memorable experiences for every guest through exceptional beverage and food service. Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of non-alcoholic beverages, including coffee, tea, smoothies, and specialty drinks, ensuring high quality and consistency.
• Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process retail sales transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Greet customers warmly, take their orders with enthusiasm, and provide excellent customer service throughout their visit.
• Maintain cleanliness of the café area by regularly cleaning equipment, counters, tables, and food handling surfaces in accordance with food safety standards.
• Handle cash transactions with precision, process payments accurately, and give correct change using basic math skills.
• Assist in food preparation tasks as needed, including assembling beverages and preparing light snacks or baked goods.
• Follow food safety guidelines diligently to ensure proper food handling and hygiene practices at all times.

Skills

• Proven experience as a Barista or in the food service industry with a strong understanding of beverage service and drink preparation techniques.
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for efficient sales processing.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests.
• Strong attention to detail for food safety, cleanliness, and accurate cash handling.
• Basic math skills for retail math calculations and processing cash transactions confidently.
• Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality standards.
• Knowledge of coffee experience, beverage service procedures, and café operations is highly desirable.

Pay: $10.00 - $16.00 per hour
