Duties

• Prepare a variety of non-alcoholic beverages including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks with precision and flair.
• Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process retail sales transactions efficiently and accurately.
• Handle cash, process payments, and give correct change while maintaining accurate cash handling records.
• Maintain cleanliness of the café area, including food prep stations, beverage stations, and dining spaces, adhering to food safety standards.
• Provide friendly customer service by taking orders, answering questions about menu items, and assisting with product recommendations.
• Ensure proper food handling and beverage preparation techniques are followed to uphold quality standards.
• Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers promptly while maintaining high service standards.

Qualifications

• Previous barista experience or food service background is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests.
• Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and transaction processing.
• Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures.
• Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Excellent time management skills to ensure timely order fulfillment during peak hours.

Pay: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour
