Barista

Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our mobile coffee shop and bakery team. The ideal candidate will have a love for coffee and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. As a Barista, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality beverages, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring customer satisfaction while adhering to food safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages according to established recipes and customer preferences.
• Operate the Dripos POS systems efficiently for order processing and cash handling.
• Maintain cleanliness of the Barista area, including equipment, utensils, and workstations.
• Provide outstanding customer service by engaging with customers, taking orders accurately, and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
• Occasionally assisting in food preparation and serving, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations.
• Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure timely service without compromising quality.
• Handle cash transactions accurately and perform basic math calculations for sales.
• Collaborate with team members to create a positive work environment and enhance overall customer experience.

Requirements

• Previous barista experience or strong coffee knowledge is plus, but not required. Willingness to learn is required.
• Familiarity with POS systems is a plus.
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor.
• Strong time management abilities to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
• Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and retail math applications.
• Knowledge of food safety practices and food handling procedures in the food industry.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Servsafe Certificate or willingess to obtain one.

Pay: From $15.00 per hour
