We are seeking an experienced, passionate and enthusiastic Barista to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a love for coffee and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. As a Barista, you will be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of beverages, ensuring that every customer has a delightful experience in our café.

Shifts are Tuesday to Saturday inclusive, 9.30am to 4pm.

We are based inside Creations Interiors furniture store and have a very friendly team.

There are opportunities to develop and for a cook to join the team OR if you are a Barista who can also cook please let us know!

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve high-quality coffee and tea beverages according to standard recipes.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the café, including workstations and equipment.
• Assist customers with their orders, providing recommendations and answering any questions they may have.
• Ensure compliance with food safety standards and regulations during food preparation and service.
• Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently, demonstrating basic maths skills.
• Manage time effectively to ensure prompt service during busy periods.
• Collaborate with team members to create a positive work environment and enhance customer satisfaction.

Skills

• Basic maths skills for handling transactions and managing orders.
• Experience in food preparation is advantageous, along with knowledge of food safety practices.
• Strong time management abilities to maintain efficiency during peak hours.
• Excellent communication skills to assist customers effectively and provide help when needed.
• A passion for coffee culture and a willingness to learn about different brewing techniques.

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: £12.70-£13.00 per hour
