BARISTA

1. Beverage Preparation & Service

• Prepare and serve cocktails, beers, wines, coffee, tea, and specialty drinks following standardized recipes and presentation standards.
• Ensure consistency in taste, quality, portioning, and presentation of all beverages.
• Provide recommendations and upsell menu items when appropriate.

2. Customer Service & Guest Engagement

• Greet and interact with guests in a friendly and professional manner.
• Respond to inquiries, requests, and complaints promptly and courteously.
• Deliver a positive and engaging bar or café experience for all customers.

3. Bar/Café Operations Support

• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and readiness of the bar or beverage station.
• Assist in opening, closing, and daily setup and turnover of the area.
• Coordinate with kitchen and service teams to ensure smooth workflow and timely service.

4. Hygiene, Safety & Equipment Handling

• Follow all food safety, sanitation, hygiene, and liquor licensing regulations.
• Operate beverage equipment such as espresso machines, grinders, blenders, and bar tools safely and correctly.
• Ensure proper cleaning and maintenance of all tools, glassware, and workstations.

5. Inventory & Stock Control

• Monitor beverage supplies and assist in stock replenishment and ordering.
• Practice proper stock rotation (FIFO) and minimize waste through correct handling and preparation.
• Report shortages, spoilage, and equipment issues to supervisors promptly.

6. Team Support & Compliance

• Assist team members during peak hours to ensure efficient service.
• Support onboarding or training of new staff when needed.
• Comply with company policies, SOPs, and operational standards at all times.
