Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of frozen beverages and ice cream with precision and care, ensuring quality standards are met.
• Greet customers warmly, take their orders accurately, and provide friendly, attentive service throughout their visit.
• Operate POS systems such as SQUARE to process retail sales transactions efficiently and accurately.
• Handle cashing out customers, manage cash handling procedures, and perform basic math calculations for transactions.
• Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards in food preparation areas, adhering to food handling regulations.
• Manage retail sales transactions smoothly, balancing registers at shift end and reconciling cash drawers.
• Assist in beverage preparation tasks when needed, supporting overall operations during busy periods.

Skills

• Proven experience as a barista.
• Strong cashiering skills with familiarity in POS systems like Toast.
• Excellent customer service abilities, with a friendly attitude and effective communication skills.
• Basic math proficiency for cash handling, retail math calculations, and transaction accuracy.
• Knowledge of food safety practices, proper food handling, and food industry standards.
• Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks during high-volume periods.
• Previous retail sales experience with an understanding of retail sales transactions in a fast-paced environment.

Pay range is $15-$20 after tips.

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 12.0 – 40.0 per week
