This opportunity forms part of the launch of our upcoming exciting project, a luxury sister property & restaurant located on the Santorini Caldera. As a new addition to our portfolio, this concept will offer a distinctive expression of luxury hospitality and gastronomy, shaped by its exceptional setting and the unique character of Santorini, while providing an opportunity to contribute to the creation of a truly exceptional destination.

Job requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of proven experience as a Barista in a luxury hotel, fine dining venue, specialty coffee shop, or high end hospitality environment.

• Strong knowledge of specialty coffee, espresso based beverages, brewing methods, and coffee presentation techniques.

• Good knowledge of hot and cold beverages, including coffee specialties, teas, fresh juices, and non alcoholic offerings.

• Genuine passion for coffee, beverage quality, and creating memorable guest experiences.

• Fluency in English is required, additional languages are considered an asset.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a warm, polished, and guest-oriented approach.

• Ability to confidently recommend beverages and tailor orders to individual guest preferences.

• Strong attention to detail, consistency, cleanliness, and presentation.

• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and collaborate closely with all other departments.

• Positive attitude, professional demeanor, and a genuine team player mentality.

• Ability to remain composed and efficient in a fast paced luxury hospitality environment.

• Professional appearance and a strong understanding of luxury hospitality standards.

Job responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve a wide range of coffee and beverage offerings, ensuring consistency in taste, quality, temperature, and presentation.

• Prepare and serve coffees, teas, fresh juices, smoothies, and other hot and cold non alcoholic beverages according to established standards.

• Operate and maintain espresso machines, grinders, and other barista equipment safely and efficiently.

• Interact warmly and professionally with guests, take orders, and create personalized beverage experiences.

• Provide knowledgeable recommendations based on guest preferences and demonstrate confident menu knowledge.

• Maintain excellent standards of beverage presentation, including latte art and appropriate garnishing where applicable.

• Maintain impeccable cleanliness, organization, and presentation of the coffee station, bar, equipment, glassware, and service areas.

• Monitor stock levels, conduct inventory checks, and ensure coffee, beverages, and service supplies are properly replenished.

• Navigate the property's unique Caldera layout efficiently and safely, coordinating beverage service across different levels and areas when required.

• Handle guest requests and concerns with professionalism, empathy, and discretion.

• Follow all hygiene, health, safety, and company standards and regulations at all times.

• Execute all opening, daily, and closing duties in accordance with established operational standards.

• Support the wider Food & Beverage team in maintaining a consistently elevated guest experience.
