Barista

Foundry Coffee Roasters is seeking a friendly and enthusiastic Barista to prepare high-quality coffee and specialty beverages, provide excellent customer service, and maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming café environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve coffee, espresso drinks, teas, and other beverages
• Operate espresso machines, coffee grinders, and related equipment safely
• Take customer orders accurately and process payments when required
• Provide friendly, professional, and efficient customer service
• Maintain consistent beverage recipes, quality, and presentation
• Keep coffee equipment, counters, and workstations clean and organized
• Monitor coffee beans, milk, cups, and other supplies and report shortages
• Restock ingredients and service items as needed
• Follow food safety, hygiene, and sanitation procedures
• Assist with café opening and closing duties
• Respond politely to customer questions and special requests
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure smooth daily operations

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Barista or in a café, restaurant, or customer-service role is an advantage
• Basic knowledge of coffee preparation and espresso beverages
• Interest in specialty coffee and coffee preparation techniques
• Strong communication and customer-service skills
• Friendly, positive, and professional attitude
• Good attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented

Schedule

Full-time café schedule, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Pay: £16.00-£22.00 per hour
