MIDDAY/EVENING Barista (12:00pm-10:00pm) & some Weekends

Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our team in creating a welcoming café environment. The ideal candidate will have a love for coffee and customer service, ensuring that every guest has an exceptional experience. As a Barista, you will be responsible for preparing and serving beverages, maintaining cleanliness, and providing outstanding customer service.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages according to established recipes and standards.
• Operate cash register and handle transactions accurately, ensuring proper cash management.
• Maintain cleanliness of the café area, including equipment, utensils, and seating areas.
• Adhere to food safety guidelines to ensure the highest quality of products served.
• Engage with customers in a friendly manner, taking their orders and providing recommendations.
• Manage time effectively to ensure timely service during peak hours.
• Assist with inventory management by restocking supplies as needed.
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly to enhance customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in food service or coffee shop setting is preferred but not required.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests.
• Basic math skills for handling transactions and managing cash register operations.
• Knowledge of food safety practices is a plus.
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated.
• A passion for coffee culture and eagerness to learn about different beverage preparations.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $9.00 - $13.00 per hour
