Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and specialty drinks with precision and flair
• Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems, including Micros POS, to process transactions efficiently and accurately
• Handle cash, credit card payments, and cash handling procedures with integrity and accuracy
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee bar area, adhering to food safety standards
• Assist customers with menu selections, answer questions about ingredients or dietary options, and provide excellent customer service
• Manage food preparation tasks such as assembling baked goods or light snacks as needed
• Follow food handling protocols to ensure safety and quality in all food service activities
• Support team members during busy periods by managing serving duties and ensuring timely order delivery

Experience

• Previous barista experience in the food industry or food service environment is highly preferred
• Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Micros POS, is advantageous
• Demonstrated ability in serving customers with professionalism and enthusiasm
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during peak hours
• Basic math skills for cash handling, making change, and processing transactions accurately
• Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures
• Experience in food preparation or light food service tasks is a plus
