Job Summary

We are looking for a creative and hands-on individual who can develop innovative beverage concepts while maintaining high standards of quality, consistency and customer service to deliver an enjoyable café experience.

Job Responsibilities

1. Beverage Development & Quality Control

• Develop and introduce new beverages, including coffee, tea, mocktails, speciality drinks and seasonal menu items.
• Create beverage recipes that reflect the brand identity, customer preferences and business objectives.
• Standardise recipes, presentation and portion sizes to maintain consistent quality.
• Source and evaluate ingredients, syrups, garnishes and suppliers based on quality and cost efficiency.
• Keep up with beverage trends and propose creative ideas to enhance the menu.
• Train team members on beverage preparation, presentation and service standards.

2. Customer Service & Daily Operations

• Work closely with the team to ensure smooth day-to-day café operations.
• Take customer orders and provide attentive, friendly service.
• Prepare and serve beverages and food in accordance with established quality standards.
• Coordinate with clients on beverage requirements for events and catering services.
• Ensure beverage stations, counters and equipment are properly stocked and ready for use.

3. Inventory & Hygiene Management

• Monitor stock levels, manage inventory rotation using the FIFO method and check ingredient freshness and expiry dates.
• Coordinate with suppliers, receive deliveries and ensure proper storage of ingredients.
• Maintain the cleanliness of beverage equipment, tools, refrigerators and preparation areas.
• Follow food safety, hygiene and sanitation requirements.
• Carry out end-of-shift cleaning, sanitisation and waste disposal.

Job Requirements

• Demonstrate an interest in beverage creation, coffee, tea and hospitality.
• Experience in barista work, mixology or beverage development is an advantage.
• Creative mindset with strong attention to detail.
• Good customer service and communication skills.
• Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Well-organised, proactive and mindful of hygiene standards.

• Working Hours/Days: 9am - 6pm (Off on Monday)
• Location easily accessible via public transport
